The steel sphere is 36" in diameter holding about 100 gallons. The pond liner is 72" in diameter and 18" deep filled with about 8" of pea gravel.
The sphere sits on the pea gravel. Water depth to the pea gravel is about 9". Installed a valve at inlet to sphere to prevent the sphere from emptying when pump is off.
