This is a Low Voltage Transformer and it shows the electrical input and output specs for a low voltage product.

You'll notice on the transformer it'll say, not for submersible fountain pumps. This transformer IS OK for Low Voltage Fountain Pumps.
What some people have tried to do is to cut the end off a 110V pump and connect it to this transformer. That will NOT work. That is the only reason it says; Not for fountain pumps.

This type of transformer WILL operate a 12 Volt LOW VOLTAGE fountain pump. We have connected 2 low voltage pumps to this one transformer as you'll notice the total output wattage is 120W  which is more than enough to operate our WA-345-LV Pump and our WA-300-LV Pump combined.

None of our low voltage pumps will operate off a DC transformer. These are AC Pumps and require an AC or VAC 12 volt output transformer.
